2024 Bobtail Rodeo & Fleet Safety Day
On Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, Palmetto Propane proudly hosted a company-wide Propane Bobtail Rodeo, celebrating fleet safety and the exceptional skills of our CDL drivers. This thrilling event featured a four-stage obstacle and technical skills course designed to identify the best driver in our company.
Our drivers competed for top honors in three categories: Best Propane Driver, Best Transport Driver, and Best Service Technician Driver. We awarded the highest achievers in each category with well-deserved prizes, recognizing their dedication and expertise.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our vendors and sponsors, whose support made this event possible. A special thank you to the SC State Transport Police (SCSTP) Sgt. John Harter & Corporal Bengie Coleman, and the Batesburg-Leesville Fire Department (BLFD) Chief Josh Frye, for their invaluable contributions. Their representatives delivered insightful presentations on heat and road safety, enriching the day for our entire staff.
